Chuck Lock Supports Up to 300 lbs.

Our chuck lock design is compact, but very strong, taking up half of the board space compared to a typical scooter, yet able to support up to 300lbs. Have you ever tried riding a typical scooter with sandals on, and jammed your toes on those rails? Ouch!
Our chuck-lock lock opens and closes by a quick-release lever for quick, convenient operation.

Front Fork Suspension

Our Suspension models feature heavy-duty 10-coil shocks. Typical scooters have much smaller springs, with only a few millimeter of travel. With our larger shocks, you are able to put a larger front wheel (up to 130mm) on your scooter for a different look, and a better ride.

Step Board Size and Usable Area

Our longer and wider step board and compact locking mechanism give you 40% more foot space on the step board when compared to a typical scooter.

Integrated Rear Axle (pat. Pen.)

The AX-1 Series scooters feature a raised deck design for superior handling, with an integrated rear axle for added strength (Patented). Typical scooter makers weld their rear axle on to the deck, making them more vulnerable to breakage.
Our design also features a raised brake axis design, allowing more direct force to be applied to the wheel.
Our unique brake pedal design also keeps heat away from the rider's foot.

Locking Handle Bars

AXtion's AX-1 handle bars lock into a unique receptacle when stored (Patent Pending).
Handle bars on typical scooters flop around when being carried, and have elasticized strings that get frayed and break

Handle Bar Post Design

Typical scooters have a groove running along the handle bar post. If dirt or sand collects in this groove the post will jam, preventing the handle bars from being opened and closed. The AXtion scooters have a grooveless post, that helps prevent jamming.

Every AX-1 series scooter includes a heavy duty, oversized nylon carrying bag for fast and easy storage when you're not riding. This bag has a $14.99 retail value.

Triple-Bolted Neck Interface

Typical scooter manufacturer's weld rails onto the step board to connect the neck, and use a spring-loaded trigger to fold the neck down. This welded interface is susceptible to breaking, and the spring can corrode and break, because of it's location and the light-weight wire used. If either the welds or the spring breaks, a typical scooter cannot be easily repaired.
The AXtion AX-1 series scooters features a slot through the step board, and a solid aluminum alloy block that is triple-bolded onto the step board to connect the neck. Besides being extremely tough, this design is also easily repairable.
